Walmart Connect ripoff artist fraudulent customer servive Jacksonville Florida

On July 18,2005 I called Wal-Mart Connect to cancel my account. The man said that I could not cancel at that date because I was already being charged for their service until August, I said I wanted a refund was told no, and that I needed to call back again next month if that was what I wanted to do.

July 26,2005 Received a letter stating that I agreed to keep the service.

I immediately tried calling and was on hold for 45 minutes, which of course I ended up hanging up.

So then I proceeded to call my bank and they informed me that Wal-Mart Connect did not charge my account until July 21st. And was told the only way I could prevent them from charging anything to my account was to close that account and open another one. Which I did.

July 27 Called Wal-Mart Connect again finally was told that account was to be closed immediately. But that was after the same old arguement about using the account until next month, and calling back. And no refund! The service was not that great but when you live in a small town you have to take what you get, but was worthless when you could only be online for 10 minutes at a time. The amount you pay may be only $9.94 a month but you will continue to pay that amount even after you have decided you no longer need their service.

I went through the same song and dance about 6 months ago when I was trying to network my computers together. They would tell me one thing then connect me to someone else and tell me another. Will I ever use Wal-Mart connect again. NO! Do I recommend Wal-Mart Connect NO WAY!!
