 Buyer Beware! FamilyMobile Monthly Plan offered by Walmart is highly misleading. I bought a cell phone for work. Chose the T-mobile Concord Android model and signed the agreement. Do NOT do this as the c/s rep wasn't exactly forthcoming about how lousy and expensive a program this truly is. I had issues with the phone turning off (not disconnecting) shutting off completely during calls. Internet wouldn't allow access 99.9% of the time, not connection, we are taking access to get to  allowing a connection SD card error continuously, thus, internal issues. Charging it was a constant issue, it wouldn't hold or take a charge. Phone wouldn't turn on before a month of owning. Went to Walmart-back and forth between customer service and phone dept. neither would help. Finally demanded a mgr, who said cell phones are only guaranteed for 14 days. Check internet they usually FAIL on this model in 20 days. Finally I settled on an exchange, wanted refund. With new battery, phone actually functioned as it should. But service was not as expected. Billing was HIGHER than the $39.88 I was told. There are "fees" and supposedly the agreement page you must sign says that you "agree" to all incurred charges and increased rates. The phone was purchased in 8/18/13, had issues, exchange done 9/4/13. It was for business and doing business on it was impossible, dropped calls, subpar access, etc. It wasn't reliable. I wanted to end my association. Of course cancellation isn't allow online, but I was assured I could do everything on the website, BUNK.

Tried to contact t-mobile c/s, LONG hold times, and lots of reps that english is a 2nd language so very difficult to understand, sups never available. I paid for my service for the month, but was informed that I can't cancel my service until 10/18/2013, as that was my registering date...I must pay for a phone that rarely works and a service that is useless for my needs. It isn't a contract, but an agreement where YOU the consumer have no RIGHTS and NO RECOURSE. Walmart has reduced this phone model to half of what I purchased it for. Probably to sell more and get more suckers to fall for this horrible arrangement. DON'T DO IT. The phone I got has many many reviews saying it is faulty. The service agreement is subpar, and NO ONE should have to battle between Walmart and T-mobile for help, but NEITHER party will take ownship of any issue, believe me, they just are laughing at you for being had!!!! Cell phones are a wonder, but landlines NEVER had the issues that plague using this new technology. And it is TOO expensive for what the consumer has to put up with. So what was suppose to be an economical endeavor is proving to be an expensive lesson on how NOT to chose a cell phone or service provider.
