i purchased 2 phones back in feb2013 for my children whom both have asthma so that i am able to check on them. well may2013 both phones stopped working,I called and was told to ship them to a return center in new york. needless to say i have been going back and forth from a 18777608760 number and a internet address to be able to get a refund because no one at the company are able to locate either one of my phones. i live on a fixed income and not able to buy replacement phones.
i have one simple question to mask the company why cant you pull my account up on the computer and see that i have a contract and i have no phones because the service is not being used? if they dont want to give a replacment phones then refund my money so that i may purchase working phones for my childern. it is now august 2013 and still going thru this when will it end!

Family Mobile is a no contract service. The papers customers are told to sign are the terms and conditions of the service that goes over canceling the line, billing, and return policies of Walmart. You don't return the phones to family mobile........ever. If you buy your insurance that they offer with every account then its through assurance so you call a 1-800 number that prints out on the paper a customer signs since they get a copy of it. They don't monitor ever call, every message, or every mb used. Plus since its sim card based people interchange their phones all the time.
Problem is people are breaking or trying to take phones beyond their limits and go back into Walmart to demand a new phone. They don't bother with buying insurance and they don't bother with trying to go through the manufacturer. LOL Its to much of a bother for them to even follow procedure to make claims to get their insurance. This is about 80% of the complaints I've seen about family mobile.

I am sure that they can pull up phone records, but just because the phones are not being used does not mean anything. Anything could of happened to the phones, kids could have broke them, lost them, etc. If you mailed them to the company like you said you did, you should have a reciept from the post office, or where ever you shipped them from and you should make a copy of that, and fax it or send it in to them to show that you indeed did send both phones back to them.
