Walmart Family Mobile OMG!!! Biggest Ripoff in the Western Industrialised World!!

Bought a One-Touch Evolve by Alcatel.  $159 November of last year (now it's $74).  The phone went Kaput 19 days after I bought it and Walmart has a strict 15-day return policy on cellphones.  Even though I bought the warranty they said at the warranty number I had to go through the carrier for the initial warranty first.  They received the phone December 13th and I have yet to get the replacement.  I have called every week to inquire about the status and they say that I am being sent a new one when they get back in stock.  three months later, they say they don't have any in stock but if I want to buy a new one I can get it overnighted tomorrow.  I've been on hold twenty minutes after the associate just asked if he can put me on hold for less than two minutes and I told him not to....he did anyway.  Calling back.

Do yourself a favour--go right to Txxxxxx (((COMPETITOR NAME REDACTED))) with whatever GSM unlocked or Txxxxxxx proprietarty device you choose----and save yourself!!!!   Don't be taken-in by their initial "lowest-price advertising" BOONDOGGLE the way I was.   d**n!
