On April 10th, 2007 I purchased an extended warranty via telephone for my 2003 automobile. Never once did they come to inspect it. It was warranted under good conditions. The Company received a first payment of $158.00 via phone 4/10/2007, automatic payments of $79.00 on 5/15/2007, and $79.00 on 6/15/2007. On the week of 5/21-5/24/2007 I dropped off my car at the dealership. My car had been hesitating. The dealer told me that I had transmission problems. The warranty people wanted my past records and I gave my private mechanic the ok to fax my history. I would not have done so, if I were up to a scam. The Warranty Company said they would not fix the transmission do to pre-existing conditions. I had my car inspected from top to bottom before the warranty was bought. I had an engine mount put on and every kind of tune up you could have. The Mechanic said the car was in great shape, but always have a warranty on your vehicle, especially one with the mileage I had. It is not my fault that a month later something happened. It had nothing to do with their findings! The company should have forced my mechanic to reimburse them for his faulty findings. Nor did the company reimburse me for my rental car. I called the 1st week of June to cancel my policy and halt my automatic payments. I was instructed to write the company, stating my desire to cancel. A payment of $79.00 was still withdrawn 6/15/2007. I was told that I would receive a refund in the amount of $316, but all I received was a check for $53.80. This is extremely wrong and unfair!
