I was sold a warrenty policy worth 1791. they take 135. month from checking acct. and Mr.Tom Waite ext 155 never answers his phone. I have a 2001 kia that needs repair that is covered under their warrenty. When my nachanic notifed the company a woman did't get all the info from my machinic name or contract number or est. or what was wrong and said it was not cover with out any info. My machanic faxed all the paper work to Mr.Robert Fitzerald ext 111 who said he never received when he got the confirmation from the fax was sent twice and now it is a long weekend and said i have to wait to see if it is coverd i hope i dont have to go through this every time i need to use this policy. my next step is to notife the atty. generals office and my atty to get my money back.

It is unfortunate that there are businesses out there not doing the right things.

Warranty Activation Headquarters is doing the right things. Refunds and customer service issues are being addressed. In fact, in 2005 we created a new service department and hired six full-time people to assist our customers from claims issues to payment issues.

This situation that appears on Rip-offReport.com is done in an unfair fashion. First, Rip-offreport.com did not contact us to confirm the truth of the story. Second, the type of policy that was sold was only eligible to the original owner (first owners)of the vehicle. We sold this policy based on the fact that the customer told us she was the original owner, not the second owner. Since that simple fact was not relayed to us properly, her claim was denied. An original owner gets longer coverage on certain parts (engine, transmission certain factory warranties do not transfer from one owner to the next)) than a second owner from the manufacturer. Her disclosure error allowed us to write a much less expensive policy for her, we were trying to SAVE HER MONEY; but, we were counting on the manufacturer to cover the parts we contractually excluded so we would not double-cover her engine and transmission. When this excluded part failed, it was not covered by her manufacturer because she was not the first owner and our policy excluded the same part because she told us she was the original owner.

Now, Warranty Activation Headquarters did get her 100% of her money back. Normally, it takes up to 30 days in this situation to retrieve the monies paid. In fact, we were waiting on a refund ourselves from the warranty company. This was explained to this customer. We worked very hard to retrieve the money and she was refunded in two weeks, prior to the date she was told.

Again, life is about what's fair. We did the honorable thing by refunding her all her money, even though it began with the error in her disclosure of being the first owner of the vehicle. We will continue to assist and educate customers as well as trust them with the information they provide us when registering their contract.

You can also contact the Missouri Secretary of State's office. I just did a search for this company on their website and they show no business with this name registered in the State of Missouri.
