WTS BAnk attempted to take money from my checking account without my permission Austin Texas

WTS is a company that is frauding people from all over the country. They attempted to take money out of my checking account without my authorization. I check my accounts all the time on line and I noticed that one cent was credited to my checking and a 1-800-717-7476 was listed after. I called my Bank right away and they told me to call the company. I called and the person wanted my account number. I told them no, and she said we already have your account number and we will be taking more money.

I hung up and called my bank, and they told me to go to the police which I did and filled out a report. I then had to go into my bank and change all my account information. I also had to file an affadavit of fraud. It is a hug hassle to do this when some company gets a hold of your numbers.

They probably hacked into my computer. I also had to have a technician clean out my computer and re install a whole new program. I also had to order new checks, new bank cards and contact the 3 credit report companies with fraud alerts. You have to do this once some crook gets a hold of your information.

I imagine a lot of un suspecting people loose lots of money by not being diligent and checking there accounts. If you see a tiny credit that is a significant alert for fraud so don't ignore that!
