I was doing my online banking and noticed 4 entries called "WITHDRAWAL WTS*800-717-7476*WTS". Two withdrawals each, two for 10.00 and the others for 29.89, were paid out. I checked the wts online and found out that my account was illegally given to join a porn site. Porn site disguised as an online bank.w

I've email the company and have not heard from them since. In order to cancel the memberships, you would have to know the usernames and passwords the thieves used to join the sites. WTS makes it difficult to resolve these types of situations.

I called my bank, but they told me that they can't stop the withdrawals until I contact the company making the withdrawals and TRY to get my money back and TRY to cancel the membership.

Then I can fax myself and stop the withdrawals. Victims eat it in the end, either way.

#2 REBUTTAL Individual responds

I am experiencing the same with this company

AUTHOR: Saul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 19, 2005

Several statements posted to my account.
I tried contacting the WTS*800-717-7476*WTS posted in my account and nobody answered, I am really worried about identity theft so I began an investigation with my bank, thanks to the fact that my company is a member of the better business bureau I also posted that with the bureau and if I do not have a response in the next 24 hours I will report it as identity theft and present request a complete investigation about thi issue.
I use to go thru the right channels and contact the companies first but when nobody answers the phone that is critical.

#1 UPDATE Employee

WTS is a Billing Processor, Not a Website

AUTHOR: Anna - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 25, 2005

WTS, Web Transaction Services, is a third-party ACH billing processor, processing billings many different businesses. The site you are reffering to was one of the businesses that this company processes billing for. And, to cancel you simply have to call the phone number listed on your bank statement. There are several ways to contact WTS. The online bank you are referring to , is WTS website. Just because the word bank is in the website name, does not mean anyone is disguising anything. You simply need to call and discuss with the company.
