I purchased a Wynn's Extened Care Contract for $1500.00 dollars in march 2002 for a used 1999 Dodge Dakota. The contract reads 60 months or 100,000 miles. I keep the truck, including the engine, real clean.

Recently I changed the and filters plus flushed the radiator and put in new coolant, just before winter.
I change the oil myself and have all receipts to prove this.

I have congestive heart failure and i'm on disability so i do not have the money to pay some every time i change the oil.

I was only about 4 months ago that I cleaned the engine and put armor all on all hoses black plastic parts on the engine.

My truck was having an engine knock so i brought it to a automotive repair shop. they pulled the oil pan and found it had spun 2 rod bearings.

Wynn's sent someone out to look at this and he said they would not pay because i had run the engine hot, changed the top radiator hose, did not have any coolant in the engine, the oil had been changed and there was water in the oil pan, which was sitting in the back of the truck at this time. I live in south Louisiana and on any given day there is dew on every thing in the mornings and if inside a shop it can stay all day.

I'm not talking about water mixed with oil I mean just condesate inside on the wall of the pan. Since I have had the truck it has never run hot or had any hoses replaced.

I called Wynn's to find this out and was told Susan that they would not fix it because of these problems and you are not allowed to change your own oil because when you bring it to have it changed they have a process to clean the inside of the engine out. Also they said it ran hot. When I told them I have never run it I was told maybe the previous owner had so it would not be covered.

I called the dealer ship and they are trying to get this straight.

If anyone can offer me advice on this matter or who I could contact about this I greatly appreciate this.
