I purchased a 2021 John Deere S130 riding mower and starting the 4th mowing season of my residential lawn the transmission is going out and they say after their 2 year warrant I am screwed and they will do nothing . I found they have had class action lawsuits for the transmissions but they don't fix the problem and continue to sell these riding mowers to people every day . There are lots of complaints like mine online . The cost will be 1000 dollars to fix this mower , which they say nothing runs like a deere . That is nothing but a lie and was the main reason I felt good about buying a deere . So much about caring about their reputation . I have called them and they refuse to help . Telling me they only have a 2 year warranty . Is there anything you can do to help me . Thanks Brian Oldham 58 @yahoo.com 816-349-5089

It's out of warranty

If you wanted a mower with a 5-year warranty, you should have bought a mower with a 5-year warranty. You are long past the warranty period on the mower, so I'm not sure why you would expect them to repair it for free. Sometimes companies CHOOSE to do that voluntarily, but that's not something you are entitled to.
