Dell Computers $500 paperweight... Thanks fit nothing Internet

 We purchased a $500 monitor is Sept. Due to illness my husband didn't hook it up right away and by the time we realized it was defective and tech support was no help to fix it they said it was too late to return by a couple days. I didn't want the same unit due to known issues I found on the internet. I was told to call Monday to arrange the return and exceptions could be made to policy. Unfortunately it wasn't true and I just got an argument. I tried to dispute on my credit card but then Dell sent me to collections, so I paid them. Now so much time has gone by they say I have to get a refurb! This is terrible..It never worked! So they said they'd research my case and it's been months and I only get lip service that they are looking into it. The time I've spent is just over the top and I'm stressed out beyond words...I've waited months and have nothing but an expensive paperweight. They simply don't care and are impossible to fight. The thing is under warranty and one person even tried to tell me it wasn't. How can they get away with this? It's like stealing. Never ever again.
