Generac Generac does not stand by their products or warranty waukesha Wisconsin

 I purchased a 7500 watt portable generator from a Generac dealer in Oct 2012 as a result of hurricane Sandy, at a cost of $1200. The generator has only 13 hours on it total. The engine (which is leaking oil into the air filter), and the gas tank both need need replacing! I asked for a new generator, but the supervisor rudely advised me that they were not in the business of handing out new generators, and they would fix this one by replacing the defective parts. Maybe it's me but besides the engine and gas tank, there's not much left to replace.

Generac claims that because I'm in the 2nd year of a 2 year warranty that they will not cover the labor cost, which will be around $500-$600. However, the warranty states that for consumer applications, BOTH parts and labor for the engine are covered 100 percent They totally ignored me when I pointed this out. On top of that, the service dealer wants to charge me rental for a "loaner" which I need because I have a sick parent on a breathing machine. Generac obviously does not stand by their product or their warranty.
