OAN Services USA Voicemail ripoff fraudulent billing Internet

Today, I looked at my Bell South telephone bill...and to my surprise, there was a charge from USA Voicemail for a total of $14.12 for PREMIUM VOICEMAIL. I had no idea what this was, as when I call home and no one answers..nothing happens, so I know for a fact that I have no "Premium Voicemail" on my home telephone. I tried calling the 2 "1-800" numbers that were on my bill and discovered that they have odd office hours 9:00am until 4:50pm EST, Monday through Friday. So, I decided to call Bell South and dispute this charge.

When I spoke with the BS representative, she informed me that I had been being charged for this "service" for since September, 2004. Unfortunately, they can only dispute and send the charges back to OAN Services for the past three months. She also informed me that she has heard from other complainants that somehow this company gets your information of off some internet site that you have visited. I was doing some surfing, trying to find information about this company and found a law suit from another state that was suing the same company for the same thing.

The company said that when he signed up for coupons, he also signed up for this services. I understand that this is called cramming. Which I believe is fraudulent, and if it is not, then it should be.

I guess if I can't recover the first three months charges from this company it will be an expensive lesson learned, always look at your monthly bills!!!
