Pep Boys told me I was entitled to BUY 3 TIRES, GET 1 FREE. Did not happen! Brooklyn New York

Here is my story, please read and don't let it happen to you!

1st off, I made an appointment ONLINE on 11/25/13 to have 4 new tires installed along with the computerized alignment on 11/26/13. It allowed me to purchase the tires online (COOPER CTS) and it said it was available at the store.

I arrived at the store at 8:05 am on Tuesday 11/26. I dealt with a guy named Shorn. He informed me the tires WERE NOT AT THE STORE! (Yet online it said THEY WERE AVAILABLE). He said the tires would ARRIVE BY 11 AM. I informed him I needed to pick up my son at 2:45 and he told me it wouln't be a problem. I also asked him about the BUY 3 TIRES GET 1 FREE and he told me he would give me the paperwork when everything was done. I asked to return to me a Good Year Fortera tire and he said it would not be a problem.

Did not hear from him so I went back to the store at 2:10 to see what was going on. Shorn told me the tires still did not come. I told him I needed my car to pick up my son so he told me to take the car and come back after I took care of business. He called me at 2:35pm and said the tires finally arrived and as soon as I can to bring the car back and they would get me in and out.

I arrived at 3:45pm and I was told Shorn had left and I dealt with another guy named Raul. I told him what happened and he assured me i would be taken care of. I even bought new wipers to have installed.

After seeing my car not in the garage for several hours and continually asking what was going on, my car FINALLY made it into the garage at 6:30pm (after I arrived at 3:45pm...and was there at 8:05 am originally). After all this nonsense, I was then told in the end that I would not get the 1 TIRE FREE, instead I would only get a $80 mail in rebate. Obviously this angered me to no end.

There is NO WAY I would have subjected myself to wasting a full day off to get tires just for an $80 rebate, my time is far too valuable. On top of that the tire I asked for back was never given back to me. It wasn't until I drove off and almost halfway home did I realize that it was never put in my trunk. I looked at my receipt and I was charged the $2.50 waste tire management fee on the tire I asked for.

I don't want to give you guys another chance to ruin another day off. I spent money for transportation going to and from your establishment because you don't know how to take care of your customers. I wasted 5 hours of my day for a tire purchase and alignment. A proper compensation would be to give me the free tire I was told I was getting. If anything, if my old tires are still available (3 Michelin tires), I would just as well return these tires I had installed and put my old tires back on and buy tires from a place that knows how to treat their customers. You did not and will never get my business again!
