Pep Boys Over Charged me for a simple repair $500.06 Louisville Kentucky

I came to Louisville, KY. for a doctor appointment and just as I got to the doctors office, I felt a brake failure. I parked and saw my doctor, after which I came back out and checked brake fiuld and it was fine. The closest repair shop was Pep Boys and I still had front brakes so I eased over to their shop. I went in and told the head shop fellow Michael that I thought I needed a brake line repair, he said that they would look at it . It was 12:30, I had a seat and waited . They  pulled my truck after 3:00 . I sat there, then got up and walked around in the store . Michael "said" he told the costs, I don't remember that, for if he had told me $467.49, I would have told him to back my truck out and would have called a tow truck for my truck. I have made these types of repairs before for myself.

The mechanic, Robert Thomas comes in and explains that, will need to replace the rubber line going to the calliper and that was true, rust had frozen the metal line to the fitting the the end of the rubber line . So I wait so more while "they" ordered the part a "jobber"and I sat . Finally at 5:30 they said they were finished and proceded to give me my bill. I afraid I got a little hot and I discussed this with Michael and he said he would give me a 20% off the bill, I told him that was insane but I needed my truck to get home, so I paid the bill under protest. Michael said I could call a Gregory Goodwin, store manager of sevice, store #336 but my patience had run out, and I know that I was going to get the same run around that I had already received. Some work that should have cost no more that $150.00 winds up costing me $500.06 . I will never be back and I will be telling everyone in the world about these people ...
