PEP BOYS I to was screwed Hamden Connecticut

A couple months ago my car was overheating so i brought it to the hamden pep boys! they claim it needed a new electric fan,a sending unit and charged me 800 bucks!
We werent using the car after that so it sat for a month or so,we went to use it one day last week,three mile trip...got back to the house and i was talking to my neighbor for a few minutes,the car was idling. The cars radiator (exploded) The fan did not click on,it ruined the radiator,thermostat and water pump!

I called to have it towed to pep boys so they could fix it under their warranty. They told me they could not tell why the fan didnt kick on untill the radiator was replaced...they wanted 900 dollars for this task!
I had to pay for the tow! I opted to buy a radiator(new) for 130.00 and a thermostat for five bucks and do it myself,when i got it back together and the taiwan fan did not kick on i called them.They told me to bring it in,i did.

when i got there they tried to tell me my electical system caused the problem without even looking at it in detail! they told me they took a torch to the sending unit and the fan kicked on(how this happened is still a wonder) I asked them to change the module they installed a few months back,they were very hesitant to do this because if the fan kicked on it proved their part was defective and caused the damage.(they couldnt let me see this)

after a while they agreed to do it,the fan didnt kick on so we unpluged the fan they installed and found the connector had burned! They once again claimed my electrical system caused this. There are only a few reasons why and electricl wire burns,direct short with no fuse,or such a huge draw from a motor the wire will arc until so much heat builds up and burns the connector. When we saw this was the problem and the service manager(bert)said he would fix the wire and not charge me for the module.(gee thanks)

I knew at that point if i left the car there he would have said he found another reason the car burned up and charge me for even more labor I took the car home and replaced the bad plug with real wire and the fan kicks on as it should with no overheating....my waterpump is now shot and leaks from the damage of their parts but i will have to replace it myself.
