Stanley Warranty are real sweet talkers when it comes to selling the insurance products and promise you the best service and conditions, First they dont send you the policy until a month after the purchase after begging and pleading for it! they charge you right away annd say that they are emailing you the policy but you have to beg for it to get it.

And then once you actually have a problem with your appliance there is no one to help you! they will send somone out initially and then if the problem persists they will with all kind of legal gimmicks come up with reasons to not help you at all! And when you try to speak to the manager the system is down and they cant transfer the calls! the worst experience i have ever experienced! Please don't become a victim of these thieves and save yourself some heartache!

Tyg - "where there is smoke there is fire"

AUTHOR: Karl - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, September 11, 2013

All anyone needs to do is a search for Stanley Warranty and there are dozens, maybe hundreds of complaints about this company. To use your words from another one of your corporate/warranty apologist posts, Tyg, "Where there's smoke, there's fire." Sure, it is possible that some of these customers simply didn't understand or carefully read the contract. But if dozens or hundreds of people take the time out of their busy day just to write in about getting ripped off by Stanley Warranty, it seems to me we have a pattern here.

No calls back? The runaround? Technicalites? Claim denials? Appears to me that at the very least, Stanley is careful in their deceptions, staying perhaps *just* this side of the law. But do they maintain the *spirit* of the law? Do they take care of their customers? Do they provide a reasonable product for the cost? Are they responsive? It certainly doesn't appear so.

Why side with shady companies like this, Tyg? Do you work for one of them?

What type of warrenty

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

POSTED: Thursday, August 22, 2013

You say they are useing LEGAL on you. this means that your warrenty doesnt cover the problem you are having. See the consumer thinks that a warrenty is a "cover all" for if anything goes wrong. That hasnt been try for a very long time. You warrenty completly spells out what it covers.
