Verizon, High priced Phelan California

I signed up for the Verizon small data plan cost $30.00 plus $20.00 per month with a phone and they gave me a Tablet for $10.00 per month.

Problem data was getting used even when wifi was connected and Verizon customer service said that was a problem and there is no way to stop that from happening (other than turning off data completly).

My phone and Tablet would use 2 gigs in a few days and I wanted to return the Tablet, Verizon refused to take it back and charged me $177.00 early termination fee. On pre paid plans it would be hard to use 2 Gigs and they refused to let me simply return the Tablet. I still have the phone and it is a real problem turning off data when on wifi. 

Buyer beware, be very carefull when dealing with Verizon, once you are signed up they will not work you reduce your fees even if they admit there is a problem.
