Verizon is unable to connect to more and more local phone numbers. At first it was just the bank a mile away at 610 944-9650. Then it was also other branches of that bank. Now there are many other numbers we can't call from our landline including: 610 406-9944, 610 743-8000, 484 334-4224, 610 743-8000.

All of these numbers are reachable from a cell phone. In addition Verizon charges 13.95 per month for caller ID but only correctly identifies about 25% of the calls we receive. They are billing customers for service the do not provide.
