On 5/28/16 I received an email from 1and1.com saying that it was time to renew my domain. And in 3 days they would debit my account for the 14.99. Well I immediately called them and proceeded to cancel the account, domain and all so that my card would not be debited. So I cancelled received an email stading that it was cancelled. I also cancelled another domain that was active the same day. And I received an email for that one as well. It turns out that they still tried to debit my card anyway. I was furious and upset with these people for still trying to get money from me AFTER I had already cancelled. So I called in to give them a piece of my mind, and was told, "get this", that I cancelled the domain name but not the invoice. What sense does that make? Why would I pay for a domain that I was no longer going to be using???? They wanted to get the money no matter what, so they came up with a lame of an excuse so they could try and still get my money. such bad, bad business. What they should do is give the 14.99 for trying to take it from me.What if my card company had of let them just take the money anyway??? Yes I would have gotten it back, but it's the moral principle of the thing!!! I will change this status if they care to rectified what they tried to do. It was so wrong and criminal of them and very, very dishonest. And I do not want their services, not after this...

WELL, THERE WAS NO REFUND FROM 1&1.COM. EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID THAT A CREDIT HAD BEEN APPLIED, HERE IT IS 7 BUS DAYS LATER AND NOTHING. I WILL SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND NEVER DO BUS WITH THEM AGAIN. BEWARE!!!!

THIS MORNING I RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING THAT A CREDIT HAS BEEN APPLIED TO ME OF 14.99. AND THAT I SHOULD RECEIVE WITHIN 7 DAYS. I WILL SEE IF THEY ACTUALLY DO WHAT THEY SAY THIS TIME. I WILL UPDATE WHEN IT SHOWS IN MY ACCOUNT. AND WE NO IT SHOULD NOT TAKE THAT LONG...24-72 HOURS AT THE MOST IS ALL IT SHOULD REALLY TAKE, ESPECIALLY TO A CARD. I HAVE THE EMAIL THAT WAS SENT TO ME FOR MY RECORDS GOING FORTH...
