AcuShield Financial Burned by AcuShield Las Vegas Nevada

Started out with Best Debt Solution, Escondido, CA, in August, 2004, which later changed to AcuShield Financial, Las Vegas, NV. Settled some debts for us, everything seemed good and then we put $10,000 into set aside funds April, 2007. No debt negotiating done after that. Frequent follow up with calls only to be told "will send to negotiator". Every phone call met with the runaround.

Cancelled contract in writing by faxing to number given me on May 8, followed up on May 12 with phone call and told it wasn't received and I had sent to wrong number so sent again May 13, to the new number they gave me and told refund would be 45 to 60 days. Contacted BBB in Las Vegas area. Correspondence to AcuShield, back to BBB, back to me, and assured via letter the refund would be here July 13 or thereabouts. Must be thereabouts because I don't have it, probably won't get it. Not after reading other reports on this company at this site. My call today met with statement it will take 45 to 60 BUSINESS DAYS so still getting the runaround!

So very glad we did not put more in the set aside funds. A hard lesson learned and best advice I can give, just don't do credit cards! I tell my kids no, no, no! Let our nightmare be the best example of what can happen!
