You didn't ask, they didn't tell. Your fault. Guy goes into a dealer and wants the cheapest new vehicle they have. Their $7,995 special. Or whatever the price is. YOU should have asked or found out, what you were getting for your money.

I don't doubt it at all, although $1500 is a bit steep.

I know that FORD dealers will add factory air conditioning to Rangers after the fact and that the added A/C will be covered under the standard 36000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. I know this because I have done it. My 1994 and 1998 Rangers did not have A/C and I paid the dealer to install factory air before I took delivery of the trucks. The cost to me was about $900 both times.

I started working there the same week you brought the car back. I know the the C.H.T. is a very shady place, but you are a complete idiot for buying a car in june/july and not realizing te air wasn't an option on that model. You bought the BASE MODEL Lancer DE. Manual transmission, no air, etc. i highly doubt anybody would have told you they would "add air" for $1500. And if they did and you believed it, well you're the guy would didnt check the air conditioner in the summer. Oh, and nice rims...
