Child Support Enforcement rip-off Not a dead beat dad but this blood sucking leech will make him one Hinesville Georgia

I know there are some dead beat dads out there who don't pay any child support. If a man pays child support and works with CSE they should at least give him some respect.

Let me enlighten yall on how the CSE handles cases around here.

My brother and his wife had a daughter in Dec. 1983. When she was around 4 her mother got pregnant by another man. She left my brother w/o him knowing and we never heard from them again. We had no idea where she had taken his daughter.

In 1997, the CSE got in contact with my brother and told him he was in arrears in his child support to the tune of 23,000 and some odd dollars. Come to find out she had gotten a divorce in another state. Of course she was on welfare because she was always to lazy to work. So my brother started paying his child support. He still hasn't seen his daughter and only knows that they live in Kentucky somewhere.

By no means am I saying my brother is perfect. He has missed some payment here and there.
Periodically he'd have to go to court if CSE thought he'd missed too many payments. Around here when you go to court you'd better take a few thousand dollars with you or you WILL go to jail. Then it's up to the family to come up with the money.

If you're not a dead beat dad you will be. They CSE will put you down and kick you till you squeal.

In 1999, he gets a letter from CSE saying he owes 18,000 and some odd dollars. Well it's coming down some. RIGHT

In 2000 he gets another letter saying he is in arrears of 23,000 and some odd dollars, even though he was paying, the amount increased. NO EXPLANATION
In all this time he's been to court several times for either missing a few payments or just because they felt like sticking it to someone.

He's informed that starting Jan. 2003 they will start adding 12% interest to unpaid arrearage. Well this is ok even banks charge interest. Now heres where they get you. They decided to go back till 1997 and charge this interest. So he gets another letter around the end of Jan. 2003 saying he now owes over 50,000 in back child support due to the interest being added. His daughter turned 18 in Dec. 2001 and he finally did get to see her. She came to him.

His case worker D. McKillop is a blood sucking leech. She goes beyond the call of duty to be nasty to him and others probably. Now that she said he owes all this money she sends he a summons to appear in court late Feb. 2003. He tries and tries to contact her by phone and in person. She however, is too busy to meet with him. Finally he sees her at Food Lion of all places working a part time job because her husband left her and doesn't pay enough child support. (maybe she should handle her own case) Anyway he tells her he needs to talk with her and she said to call or come by the office and she'd talk to him. HA HA

Well after another week of trying he does get to see her. She tells him to bring 7500.00 to court or he'd go to jail.

Well needless to say he doesn't have this kind of money and neither does his family. So he, his wife and her kids hauled a*s. All he wanted was for his case worker to work with him so they could get the interest straight. They act like loan sharks. Anyway he's gone and won't tell us where so we don't have to lie to the blood sucking leech.

Sorry to on and on, but I needed to vent.
