I have been charged on my city credit card 2.95$ for last 9 months.
I try to dispute the charges but city credit card just took off only two months and made me sign affidavit and made me mail them the affidavit. Very not costumer friendly. I am still stuck with paying most of the charges.IMV*CINEMADEN.COM
8777996850 DE iMovies Ltd was the rip off company who fraudulently charged my card, is a some sort of movie website and i was going to sign up for the service but decided not to but too late they had my credit card information and start charging my credit card.I did not notice the charge thinking may be my wife had some charged but when i kept seeing month after
month so i called the city credit card and the attendant was very professional and very well informed of the credit card policies. She should been profess-er because i felt like i got free lesson on credit card policies. I offered her to work for the government because they have PhD in not helping the exact consumer who pay for their salaries.
I try contacting CINEMADEN but some Chinese lady kept telling me ttoo late ttoo late in Chinese. I am more pissed off about getting ripped off buy a company who fraudulently got my information and deceived me to sign up for some thing i
dont even know and on top my credit card wont help me put a stop to it.I did what i could meant cancel the credit card of more than 5 years and promised to never sign up for city credit card or any thing they offer to me my family and
friends not mentioning my employees. I am really disappointed in city credit card to not help me put a stop to a fraudulent charge.
They try to entice me by waving off my fee and giving me free miles on the credit card.they just wouldn't take the charges of which were less than what they were offering me.Oh well I am sure if they lose money the goverment will bail them out so they have nothing to worry about because they make sure to help put con artist friendly law makers in the office.

I had the same problem with American express well Guess what they did they went back and took all the charges off and reported the website to their fraud division. I have several account signed up with AMX just for that reason. Total charges were 20.37 and Citi credit card offered me to take off 95$ fee for the year. Do they not require their employees to have common sense? Should I take off 20.37 or offer him one year of fee of 95$ ? Da Just disappointed with the Citi card policy. I think
their service sucks and they were right to go under. Government should have let them face like leman brothers. They need to look back and borrow a page from American express service.

You entered in your credit card information on a Web site. You saw the charges but didn't inform Citi of the fraudulent charges for 9 months. You say because you thought your wife charged it. Okay so why didn't you ask your wife 9 months ago, how come you didn't ask her about it 8 months ago, how come you didn't ask her 7 months ago when it kept showing up?
When you finally got around to informing Citi, they probably told you that you only have a limited time to dispute the charges. So they removed the last 2 charges and made you sign an affidavit. That is what just about every other credit card company would have done.
You may not think it is too consumer friendly but the reason they had you sign it is because there are many people who would put in fake disputes to get out of a bill. This usually stops that because it gives the CC company more power to go after them if they discover it was a case where the card holder was defrauding them.
You should have taken the offer of them giving you miles or waiving fees.

You are required to file a dispute within a specified period of time. You failed to follow that policy. Not a rip off.
