Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your interest in reading my ripoff report about CitiMortgage Inc.

In February 2005 I bought a house my previous husband. Three years later we divorced and I left the responsibility of the house to my ex-husband in our divorce decree.

I didn't realize it's not that simple. Now I'm trying to buy a house with my current husband and have found out by calling CitiMortgage, that because of my ex-husband's poor credit, I cannot be released from liability of the loan.

I'm just sickened over this. I haven't lived in the house for almost three years now and left the house and all responsibility of it to my ex-husband in our decree, but I'm stuck being responsible for the home. Isn't there anything I can do?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for reading! =)
