Consumers Energy Gave me an unrealistic "Estimated" electric bill Lansing Michigan

I received an 'estimated" bill out of no where for close to $1100

Called consumers and was told that I can start providing my reading each month. Pretty much get over it and pay it or lose my electric service. I know of at least 5-7 other people who have also had this same thing happen.

My bill history can be viewed and seen that I always paid my bill and was not behind in anyway at that time of consumers stating that my bill was close to $1100

I am beyond sick of these companies thinking they can do whatever the heck they want! Sad thing is they CAN do it because there is noone to be our advocates and help us
