Guaranteed or Up To credit limit?

AUTHOR: Jay - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 03, 2010

Most all Pre-approved offerings in the mail do not guarantee you will get a set amount as your credit limit, but instead will say "up to" the amount which includes anything from one dollar to fifteen hundred.  Also, most people do not read the back of the agreement or fine print that outlines each of the charges.  I used to be someone who filled out an offer without carefully reading it, then get upset if the terms are not what I expected.  Now I'm more responsible with credit cards and carefully read the fine print and additional inserts of changes to terms and conditions before I sign for anything.
