I am a Hurricane Harvey victim so I've called all my creditors for assistance with my accounts to prevent damages to my credit. Due to Insurance and FEMA delays, I haven't received enough funds to repair my home so I am living from my son's home to my daughter's home. This is a very stressful and frustration time for everyone in Houston with most of us having difficulty with Credit One Bank Credit Cards. I called Credit One Bank in September and October 2017 to assist my credit cards because funds were not available. All available funds were used to start repair on my home so I could move back in it. The representative told me they would waive the minimum payment for September and October but did not honor what they told me. I started receiving collection calls from Credit One and the representatives wasn't aware of the agreement.

Therefore, I called Credit One rep and was told I needed to make a payment because it was past due. I explained to representative for 10 minutes what was agreed upon and they were totally clueless. I asked for a supervisor for 5 minutes with the rep. refusing to get a supervisor. I spoke to supervisor and was told someone dropped the ball because no one follow through with the account correction. I called Credit One Bank again regarding the October payment being past due and was told the same as last month but did not follow through. Now my October payment is past due again so I called Credit One again. The representative stated your account is 12 days past due and I asked how is that possible when the payment was to be waived for October. Each time they saw the notes where they told me it would be waived but would not honor the agreement. I asked to speak to a supervisor (Erika - ID# 313490352) where she told me Credit One was waiving September and October minimum payment for the Hurricane Harvey victims over 3 times. I explained to her how frustrating it is to call a creditor and promise to do something then do not follow through or go back on an agreement.

This unprofessional and deceptive way of treating the customer adds to their stress and frustration which makes the bank untrustworthy. Erika got upset then told Credit One only waived September payment for Hurricane Harvey customers after telling it both months. So she told you need to make the 10/19/17 payment because would not waive the October payment previously agreed to. I asked to speak with someone in Corporate or her Manager and she refused to do either. She says I will send a ticket for a callback and I requested the ticket number (161872) for someone to call me back. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!
