I worked for Crescent Processing fo ra short time before I realized the company is a scam. I ended up quitting my job after they refused to pay me any money. after quitting I returned the laptop computer they supplied me thru fed ex. Six weeks after that the company used my direct deposit information to try to take $800 out of my checking account!!! this caused me to go overdraft and my bank charged me $102.00 in overdreft fees. I have tried repeatedly to contact crescent processing and so far got only one response to my manager at Crescent named Kevin Kuhlman. his email to me basically said that the upper management told him not to answer me or try to help me in any way!!!! DO NOT work for this company!! all they did when I was there is try to plot against the poor merchants who are stupid enough to let these criminals into their stores. for those consumers who have complained on this site about the fees you were charged I will tell you that the more charges they stick you with the more commissions the sales scumbag makes. the initial $60 fee is simply an extra fee the representative gets. I emailed David Kesler ( the CEO of the compay ) and let him know what happened to me and never heard back!!! these people are absolute scum if you are a merchant do not give these people your bank infornmation or you will wind up like me..... totally ripped off!! if you give them direct deposit info or bank info you can't do anything about any illegal charges they will hit you with. Juan Espinoza is the mexican turd who executed the charge to my account. Jeff Senay is the scumbag recruiter. don't listen to these people it is all one big scam!!! any ripped off merchants who want information on these dirty practices please contact me (((Redacted))). I will give you any inside information I can.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

not really a scam

AUTHOR: Not Joe - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, July 02, 2010

I also worked for CPC for a VERY short time.  So far, I have not found that anything they do is a "scam".  Perhaps a sales rep was not totally honest, or just didn't know enough about every policy, but as a former rep, I can say I was never asked to and never myself willfully mislead any customer.  I will say that I did not really have any problems with customers, but took exception to how I personally was spoken to by my "sales specialist".  The individual who I reported to seemed to be extremely irritated at just about everything.  I made it through Air Force basic training and graduated with honors as a Security Specialist ( Security Police ) and found many similarities between the two experiences.  Having said this, I respected my Air Force Training Instructor after the fact, having realized he was just breaking me down in order to build me up.  I have been in sales for 18 years, and am gainfully employed as a Sales Manager.  My sales philosphy has always been "you catch more flies with honey that with vinegar" and has always served me well.  The sales style employed at CPC is more high pressure than I normally enjoy, but this does not mean it is not appropriate.  I would have preferred a more encouraging attitude from my support team, as opposed to sarcastic comments and critical retorts, but again, that is only my opinion, not a blast against management.  CPC seems to be a very successful company and I can personally attest to the satisfied customers I encountered.  My "corporate manager" was tough but fair, and ultimatley, I respect their position and approach if it has proven successful.

#1 UPDATE Employee

Boy, he's mad!

AUTHOR: Manav Misra - (U.S.A.)

Boy, this guy is mad..."mexican turd"...even getting race involved in it.

So, I've been working with this company since last september (2008). I have had to replace my laptop and/or a part on it about 5 or 6 times (yes, it is annoying) and I spoke with Juan Espinoza each time. I have never had to pay any shipping charges or anything. I just paid $25 out of my first 12 sales for the $300 deposit.

I plan to work with this company for another 5 or 6 months, and then I guess I will see if they return the deposit or try to take money from me. I doubt that they will. I have been paid on time on every activated sale except twice where, because of a payroll glitch, my pay was about a week behind. I don't know anything about the manager mentioned, Kevin whatever, but my manager is great.

My customers are hardly ever surprised by their fees b/c I let them know each fee before they do business with me. I have had a couple of "mad" customers call me up (out of about 60+ accounts), but by working through Crescent's client services most of the issues have been resolved within a week or so at most. I have even turned down about 5 or 10 sales that I could have had, but Crescent' numbers were just not benefiting the merchant.

Finally, yes, the $60 processing fee does go to the rep, and most of the time I let the merchant know this too. Depending on how much I am saving them a month and/or whether they are willing to give me a referral, I will discount this fee for them.

Anyway, just my experiences so far...I guess everyone's is a little different.
