I traded my car in that had a blue book value of $3200. .drivetime only gav me $700 for my 1999 mitsubishi galant. They won me over with their so called 3 year warranty. Within 2 days of me having the vehicle I had to replace both clamps that hold the exhaust up. . Found out thats wat the scrapn was when I drove. My driver door had something broke in it & couldnt unlock doors nor ropll down driver window. . My brakes were missing some pins? Which caused my breaks to rattle extrmely loud.

The worst part was the 3 leaks in the transmission. Kept noticing puddles where I parkd. I got it into drivetimes shop to b told it would cost. Almost $1000. To fix evrything. Also, needed a new battery & alternator!!!! Drivetime said the leaks werent in the parts of the tansmission that r covrd. - nor the battery or alternator. Ive read complaints on bbb. .drivetime is a scam & thy nd to b shutdown!! Single mothr of 6 takn advantage

How did the door locks and driver's window perform when you checked them out prior to purchase? Were the brakes loud during the test-drive? Brakes are usually not covered under warranty. If the items that failed are not covered under warranty, then you do not have a valid complaint. You may need to refer to your copy of the warranty agreement to verify what is covered.

Why did you accept a $700 trade-in on a vehicle that you think should have been worth more? If someone negotiates an agreement and is later dissatisfied it is unfair to claim it was a rip off. That is more of a case of buyer's remorse.
