I bought the Durabrand 10" lcd DVD player from Wal-mart for $173.93 last April. Should have a 1 yr parts warranty. The sound doesn't work so I go to wal-mart and they give me the runaround and a phone number that is disconnected. Since when does Walmart deal with shady manufacturers and I'm just slightly ticked off they won't stand behind a product even though it appears the manufacturer doesn't exist any more. Walmart just lost a customer, not that it appears they care...

Walmart made good on bad product

I gave Walmart one chance and they came through. Must have been quite a number of complaints on this product. They let me make an in-store exchange for another brand. I guess I have to eat crow and they haven't lost a customer. I do have a DVD player that works now, which is the end goal any way.
