Started a new policy online. after about a week I started getting e-mails with cancelation threats. I had not even received mail confirmation or cards. Called and canceled Policy and was told I'd be charged $50.00. A week later I was emailed saying I had not paid enough on the policy. I told them the Policy was canceled they said it would not take effect until the 29th of the month. They stated that the policy had to be changed so they had to restart the policy and It caused a hike in the premium. I just wanted to cancel. Then I received an email stating there was a credit to the account of $21.00 due to overpayment. Later that day I recieved an e-mail stating I now have a balance of $400.00 and it would be debited to my Credit Card on file. I called customer service once again and they again stated This was routine due to cancelation and that the policy needed to be restarted for the credit to be applied that caused a decrease in the premium. Today I received an email stating that (I copy and pasted this)

You have an outstanding balance of $42.76. Even though your policy is no longer active, this balance is still due for the time you had coverage.

We will attempt to charge the credit/debit account you have on file with us again on 03/31/2007 for this amount.
