factoryoutletstore.com Sells what it hasn't got Internet

 On November 19, 2013, I ordered replacement bottles from FactoryOutletStore.com for my Sodastream soda maker after the bottle that came with the product was mistakenly discarded.  The website and the confirming e-mail from FactoryOutletStores.com stated that my order would arrive in 2-5 business days.  Having waited for almost 2 months, I called the customer service line, and was informed that the bottles were on "back order" and should be arriving in "10-12 business days."  This means that the bottles were out of stock when I ordered them, but FactoryOutletStores went ahead and sold them to me anyway without informing me that it didn't have the product.  I asked the representative if the 10-12 business days were based on information gotten from the manufacturer of the bottles or whether she was told to make that promise to anyone calling who had not received an order, and she refused to answer the question.  Bottom line -- I am stuck waiting for the order with no idea when it will arrive.

I would not have ordered from FactoryOutletStores.com if I had known that it did not have the product in stock, and I have no doubt that the company knew that most, if not all, of its customers would fell the same way.  This evidences a company policy to sell items it does not have in stock, and promising a quick delivery, in order to mislead customers and get their money without telling them that they will have to wait for an indefinite time to receive their purchases.  I urge everyone who reads this report to stay away from FactoryOutletStore.com unless they are in no hurry to receive their purchases.
