Well As I opened my mail yesterday I recived a letter from my most unfavorite company in the whole world... They went on to tell me they have sold my loan... I danced around my living room(of which I still have after 6 years of dealing with this unscruplious company) made myself a drink and sat back and thought... I sure hope the nightmare is over.... I'll wait and see.
After 6 years I still owe them 10,000 or so more then the original loan. They report me as being behind 5 months at a time...of which we are not. CRAZY!!!! but I filed chapter 13 and I played thier game and hopefully I'm still a half a step a head of them... we will see...
Wish me luck but spring is here and I'm breathing in the fresh air for now... "Good Luck" to all who read here because you wouldn't be reading if you had a reputible mort. company......Robin ... In Illinois

Before you sit back and relax, I suggest that you do research on who Fairbanks sold your loan to. If it was Litton, Ocwen, EMC, you have not escaped anything. Actually, it is worse, because the fight against these servicers is just heating up. You can start your search hear at Rip-Off, then continue on the www, adding the words "fraud" "sucks" etc behind the name of your mortgage servicer. Come back with your results and we will try to assist you further
