I have 3 Garmin products registered. Yesterday I wanted to update my lifetime maps. This is a normal process using Garmin Express. This time I got an error message. I tried several times. Decided to reload the application via the Garmin wed site. Did so. However now Garmin says that Garmin Express is not compatable with my Operating system. I have a HPG60 running Microsoft Vista. It was compatable until now. I do not want a new operaring system nor do I want to buy a new computer just to support their application. They have change their rules from when I purchased the unit. This will become a big issue as people are moving away form computers and laptops towards devices such as iPads and do not want dole out money just for garmin. This morning I emailed via the Garmin web site looking for a solution to support their original agreement (Nov 5 2017)

Because Microsoft has already ended Windows Vista OS version support, there is no obligation for any software venders to support the version. Of course, this is why some people moved away from any Windows software because of the OS kept changing too much. Though, it is not really a rip off but rather the evolution of OS and software. Sadly, the ones who would have issues are customers...

Garmin GPS Updates for free Viki (Technician) @ 1-844305-2490 ext 417 Elexa LLC Every time you contact them they want to sell you virus protection. Last year we purchased a lifetime protection plan. Just tried to update my GPS and they tried the same scam and said all my computers are infected and now there were numerous people that had out home I.P. address and were accessing our computer and phones. Magellan GPS Sold an eXplorist 350H, supposed to have DigitalGlobe satellite imagery capability. Have to use VantagePoint software program to load on 350H. VP will NOT run on WIN 10, tried it on Win 7 and Win XP, locked up ALL computers and would NOT download DigitalGlobe files. Worked with Tech Support ,non-english speaking as first language over VOIP service, and NEVER got it working. DO NOT BUY THEIR JUNK! BUY A GARMIN UNIT THAT WORKS! NOT THIS MICKEY MOUSE CRAP!! GARMIN Needed to update maps on our Garmin GPS. Logged on and created an account. Purchased the lifetime maps update for $89.99. Downloaded the program necessary Garmin Express. Got everything up an working and then epic failure -- There was an error installing the program. Shut it all down, started from scratch. EPIC FAILURE. Tried it on another computer. SAME EPIC FAILURE. Searched the webs for solutions only to find there are none and that people have been reporting this SAME problem since 2011. So, called the bank and launched an investigation to get my money back. We'll see what happens. Nationwide

J & M Audio Purchased a Bluetooth Motorcycle headset from this company, and it will not communicate with my Garmin GPS. The company faults Garmin, but the GPS works fine with other brands of headsets. Will not allow me to return for a refund, because I do not have original packaging, which was not sent with the item.
