So as Christmas time was approaching I decided to order a gift card for one of my employees and went to giftcards.com so I didn't have to fight any of the mall traffic. I ordered the $100 gift card and paid $16 for priority shipping so they would receive it by Christmas.
As Christmas time approached the card had not been received so I began calling their customer service dept (which strangely enough each and every time I call I talked to one of two of the same customer service reps every time, after sitting on hold for 20 minutes). Each time I got a different excuse from they were overloaded for the holidays to that they couldnt find the tracking #. The list is endless. Finally on Jan 3rd I get them to admit that they sent it incorrectly through regular mail NOT priority mail which is why they could not track it and not only did they not offer to do anything to fix it they asked me to give it a few more days to arrive.
On Jan 9th I've had enough because the card has still not been received and the two customer service reps at giftcards.com don't seem to care about my problem nor do they want to be bothered with my phone calls any more. I finally get them to request a re-issue of the card so after three more phone calls I finally get the form that I have to fill out to get a new card. Customer service can't handle that so the customer themselves has to fill out a request to get a card re-issued.
So I've filled out the form and faxed it in twice. No one can tell me if the forms been received or not, only to check back with them if the replacement card is not received in 4 weeks. That's right 4 weeks! The real kicker is not only are they not refunding me for the priority mail I never received I have to pay them to re-issue the card.
This company is a scam, and their customer service dept is a joke. I'll probably never see this money back and I'm sure my employee will never get the gift card.
Please thank twice about getting anything from this website. After I went through all of this I found other posts on here about this company that had I read I would have never done business with them. I hope this saves someone else the headache.
