I signed up for a trial subscription to Highbeam Research. After letting the trial period lapse, I was charged $200 for a full year subscription without notice.

Nowhere on the terms and conditions does it say specifically that you will be charged for a full year if you fail to cancel during the trial period. In fact, nowhere on the site does it spell out the subscription fees.
