am an advertiser with Idearc Media they are the published of the Verizon yellow pages as well as super pages online.
I have been advertising with them for more than a year now and have nothing but problems. They bill my credit card every month for charges as well as send me a invoice for a check payment. I make each of the payments. However they are double billing customers/
I tried to cancel on of the listing a couple of time by telephone and in writing but they seem to ignore the request it seems they will keep billing and making up additional bills to try to get money out of you. If you try to call to no avail you will never get through the machine ask you if you would like to leave a message after about 90 minutes waiting you decide to and press the number they say and walla they disconnect you. It's just awful.
I pleaded with this company via email telephone when you do get through and by USPS to please have someone contact me to go over this invoice. These bills are paid and I have a folder full of bank payments made to this company. They pay no attention and keep up making up charges. I would like to cancel this account because their customer service and billing is so bad. But to their convenience they will completely ignore these request. I have no contract with this company but I am sure after time the only way I will get to straighten this matter out will be through collection company's and then court.
I am sure I am not the only customer experiencing this problem with this company. They are taking a legitimate business person and trying to destroy our reputation by means of strong arm billing. They can give no explanation to their charges nor do they acknowledge all the money they took from the credit card. I am sure they have lots of business that have no clue receive their fictitious bills and just pay them.
I have tried everything to try to resolve this or at least get a clear answer to what they are talking about but it seems they don't even know what they are billing you for and just ignore you if you are to question it.
