ITP-VOIP Spoke to Thomas Williams who told me he was a supervisor and that he could not give me contact information to any company superior. They not only refused to accept my cancellation, they tripled their fee AND sent me to collections!! Brooklyn New York

   I cancelled their $9.99/mo internet fax to email service on Jan 29, 2014.  On March 13, 2014 I received a letter, dated March 4, 2014, from them stating that my account was past due in the amount of $29.98.  It's the one and only notice from them that there was anything amiss.  However, the bill is usually charged to my card on the 1st-3rd of the month. But, see I canceled that card right after I canceled the account! So, they couldn't keep charging it.  Since I was current when I canceled you can see how they are by how they chose to triple that monthly fee for an account that's supposed to be canceled. 

   Well figuring it was a mistake and this was someone else's bill, I naturally called them to straighten it out.  I spoke to Thomas Williams in customer service who told me that he disagrees with my cancelation, doesn't recognize having received it, and that even though it's just a month to month service with no contract, they feel that I am in default and if I don't pay the 'past due' amount he will submit me to collections. So, I asked him if I'd had service during this period they're trying to charge me for. He said, "No".  I asked him, "The account was closed then?". He said, "Yes". So I said you can't send me to collections for an account that wasn't used and was closed! To which he said, "I already did.".

   So I asked for the contact information for the owner, headquarters, whomever was higher than a customer service supervisor. Mr. Williams told me he can't give out that kind of information. Apparently even the state they're in is a secret to their employees! When I called back to try to get a fax number, the person I spoke to, who would only identify herself as Natalie Rep# 1312, told me they don't have a fax number for 'this'. 

   Am I really going to have to get the law involved here? Isn't this defamation of character?

Guess this explains the lack of information from the employees.. Or those two could be the owners!

Here's a photo of their HQ?! This is the address listed on their letterhead. Apparently they don't want people to know who or where they really are.  Also, I've been convinced that they either ARE Muchachat or are in business with them.  I received monthly text messages from Muchachat on behalf of ITP-VOIP.  I also see that Muchachat is ALSO listed as a ripoff!
