This report is to inform the general public of a couple of individuals that presently work at this dealership so you all can be fully aware of the low-lives that you may encounter on your visit to this place. I used to be an employee at this company and I have to tell you that never in my 23 yrs of being in the work force after graduating from college I have experienced any thing more disgraceful.

The corporate office of this company should be ashamed of itself for having this people actually in positions of authority. The low sense of values, the manipulation of the truth and the representation of the lowest common denominator are what really describes this two individuals. I was racially insulted for just doing my job, mainly because they do have some sales personnel who are nothing more than a step of being totally iliterate. The person delegated to I guess make a decision or hear the versions of the incident is one of the low-lives idiots I am telling you about.

This is a guy who nobody could really figure it out how he got promoted to a "regional" because the performance of his portfolio was the worst in the region, but we all had a good idea ( butt-kissing) was basically the general consensus. At the same time this jerk could not handle the responsability of his authority for the way he had handled other situations. Does the concept of "power-tripping sounds familiar? because this idiot was it. Young and stupid he got personal with me and even though I had a witness corroborating my story he decided to condone the racial slur and the threats of physical violence towards me because after all, according to the other party I instigated the incident.

First of all, I had never insulted anybody in my life in a place of work and even if I had, I would never use a racial slur,hell I am Hispanic,so that makes me also a minority, so what is the point? But it was condone and I was made look like I was the bad guy. Tell me people who would you rather believe, a college educated professional with over 20 of succesful management experience that comes from a very respected and prominent latin american family or the story of a "hoodlum" that just a couple of weeks before went into my office and stole personal items from me. By the way, I did confronted the guy about it,but of course he denied it. The problem with this other jerk was that he loaned my personal item to a co-worker and I was able to get it back. Can you people believe that I guess nowadays at this company you do not need to know how to read or write get a job here? They have people working at this place that write words the way they sound? I guess maybe my standards are a bit high, but some of this people should really be ashamed that I found myself correcting just about everything they wrote, and why? Because English is my SECOND LANGUAGE!!!


When I realized that they were just going to " sweep it under the rug" I mentioned to my supervisor, out of frustration that maybe I needed to talk to an attorney, after all I have always conducted myself with class at this and every place I've worked. I was taken into an office and at this meeting were the two jerks, the "idiot regional" and the other low-life that happens to be the dealer's GM. They basically told me that if I took legal action against the company they were going to slander me, they told me " That I had said and done things in this company that they can use against me". All I could think of is, if I have done things so bad that they can use it against me in court of law in a racial harrasment complaint, don't you people think that I should've been fired then,because it must of been pretty bad. Of course this is a total lie from people that find it easy to lie. If they were going to "dig for dirt" on me, believe me they were going to be digging for a long time,because there is none. I decided to get another job, even though I could really give this idiots a hell of a fight, one thing I learned from my family is that you never,ever lower yourself to this level, I am better than that, better than them. So I got me a much better job than they will ever have.

My last official act in this company was when the low-life GM was involved and it was the one of the most shameful thing I have ever witnessed. I was harrased by the GM because I told a customer the truth about her credit application and the way the company handles a car that is returned back before the customer makes the first loan payment. The company in practice does not penalize the customer with repossesions if you do not make your first loan payment and if you do not buy the car the same day your application is good for 30 days before you have to go thru the entire process again. I was basically "eaten up " for telling a customer the truth. This is what happens when you put an idoit used car salesman in a management position, he does not know any better.

To the general public, beware of this unprofessional idiots,and please do not buy a car that has over 100,000 miles and is 7 yrs old for 10,500 dollars, because this is what they are doing know. Can you people believe this? There are 5,000 dealerships in Atlanta and believe me, YOU CAN MAKE A BETTER DEAL just about anywhere, do not let this low-lives fool you. Somebody should really deal with some of this crooks, because that is all they are. They will sell you a not even a substandard product,but something well below that, just like them. I was never raised and educated myself to represent the lowest common denominator. Remember, if you mix yourself with "crap", some is going to get you also. NOT ME, I AM BETTER THAN THEM!!!!

Thank you Ricardo for your help, I wondered what happened to you. :-) After my accident in January (when the car should have been totaled) I found out the value of my car (less then $3,800).

I was floored to find that out and now I have another complication with a bent/broken motor mount that shorted out my entire electrical system. Since the car does not run and I cannot afford the $3,000 repair bill (with this issue the car has to go to a dealership for repair) the car will go back to JD Byrider and they can eat the loss for selling me a car that was not worth the $14,000 put forth on paper.

As far as I am concerned they have received more then enough money (over $7,500) from me regarding this car.

You must be speaking of Mr. Rex Gosset. I don't think there is a person in that company other than the top two executives that feels that Rex should have a job. But he isn't the only one that works there that is an issue. Practically the entire company operates under the guise that it is OK to absoulutely abuse individuals with bad credit and low income. The company goes through a 'budget" process before someone can get a car. They make decisions to lend based on peoples age, race, credit, personal household budgets as well as personal character judgments. I actually have heard a regional underwriter ask a loan officer if "they liked their attitude" before approving or turning down a loan. Since when is it acceptable to approve/deny a loan based on someones judgement of a customers character. Is the standard then kept the same for everyone?


Ask them how often they approve loans wherein a boyfriend and a girlfriend have applied together. Ask them how often they approve loans where the potential customer is under 23. The whole place is a joke. If the attorney general offices wanted to make some money, it looks like Byrider has some deep pockets since they seem to settle out pretty easy and almost admit their blame. See Louisville franchise and check with James Petro's office in Ohio.


I think the powers at Byrider should re-evaluate their business practices, take an ethics class or two, and bring back Ryan Devoe.
