I am an employee of Jennifer Convertibles. As of now I'm looking for a new job. I want all you dissatified coustomers out there know not only are you not alone, but their workers are dissatisfied too!!!

Jennifer may seem like bargin furiture, and you may think you're getting out with a good deal, but you're not, let me assure you. The furniture, is all manufactured in China, and the leather, is not from Italy. Many peices arrive to the store in lousy condition, because they are bad peices of furniture. Wait times are to long, and delivery sucks. Furniture can be delivered to you damaged, broken, stained, or completely wrong, and it happens numerous times a week to me.

Sales people are not taught how to please the coustmers, we are taught more about how to make them go away, we are not there to please you, only to take your money. Coustomers are NOT followed up on, we are told that creates more problems. The 1-800 cousotmer line, never gets back to us and neither do your e-mails. The company totally shuts out everyone they can.

Many refunds take to long to get processed, and shouldn't take over a month, I've been in retail elsewhere and never saw this problem before. The Fabric and Leather protection is crap and DON'T BUY IT!!!! It is a waste of your money, the only reason we salespeople sell it is to get an extra 5/10 bucks per peice into our meager paychecks. The service is slow, and bad. Leather gets patched up with liquid leathers, and fabrics take forever to order. You can sometimes wait for upwards of a MONTH to get them to acutally respond to you.

If you have bought from Jennifer, and your furniture comes broken or dirty... REFUSE IT!!! The drivers can not make you keep it, and you give yourself more problems keeping it, seeing it's bad trying to get them to even pick it up! If you have bought from Jennifer in the past and thought you had a good experiance, don't risk trying it again. Go somewhere else for your furniture, these people don't deserve your business!

The company treats their employees less then nice too. We sometimes drive across state to fill an empty store and are not cominsated for time, gas or the ware on our automoblies. The pay is not competitive, and there is no room to get raises or move up. Forget calling out sick too, I've shown up to work throwing up because no one could cover. Benefits... bad.... vacation time... yeah right. Don't work for them, don't buy for them, let the states sue them enough so they go out of buisness and then maybe all the horrible people working for them will have to learn some coustomer service!!!!!
