Jennifer Convertibles ripoff Toms RiverToms River New Jersey

In the beginning of June I went in to purchase a sectional micro fiber couch. It looked like a light beige color. The sales person called it celery. It didn't faze me because the color was fine it was light. When the couch was delivered on June 17 it was a medium to dark green. The delivery guy and I both tried calling the store for a half hour. He then called his boss and his boss said to take the couch back. When I finally got through to the store I was told maybe it was a mistake. I had to wait a few days for them to decide if it was the wrong couch or not.

I called the District Manager Dawn and had to leave a message. She called me back 2 days later and left a message that it was the right couch and I needed to call the store to set up payment of another delievery charge and a new delivery date. I called Dawn back, but she had Elvis call me back 2 days later to tell me I was lucky they weren't charging me a re-stocking fee.

I asked for his boss number and he gave me the number of a guy named Jerry who chose not to call me back.

I rescheduled the delivery and picked a new color we ordered the Beige couch. I finally got my couch on 7/18. I noticed on the couch there was a card about how to keep the fabric looking new. It said to avoid direct sunlight because the sun will fade the fabric. The sectional I chose in the store is in the front of the store in front of huge glass windows where the sun shines in all day. The couch in the store is discolored and it doesn't look like a dark green. I am going to file a report with the BBB also and work on getting my 130.00 back. This company is a huge ripoff and should be ashamed of themselves for treating customers as badly as they do. I only wish I found this site before I purchased my couch.
