Welll my finace bought me my engament ring from kay jew. Well we went to dinner and i had just gotten the ring a couple days before and it needed to be resized[[totight]] so i took it off and after dinner we went in and i forgot it was in his car cam out the next moring and someone broke in his car and STOLE the ring. I was so upset but calmly we went to kays right away WITH A POLICE REPORT. They said oh yes your coverd here a number for insurance! They lied!!! We called them and had papers mailed to them for our claim now all of a sudden they lost the papers in the mail and its been to long!! WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! i mail everyday, and you seemed to get his payments mailed before i knew about the ring! i am very upset now that im out of a ring and they still want us to make payments for a ring i dont HAVE! i will be taking them to court now!!!

If you buy a car & the car gets stolen, the car dealership will not give you a new car. Why would you think a jewelry store would be any different? If they replaced every item that claimed to be "stolen" people would be scamming left & right. The fact is, YOU are responsible for obtaining insurance through your homeowners/renters insurance.
