My husband and I were lured into this golf academy scam in October 2007. We have 4 children who we were hoping would use the lessons to help them become golfers. My husband and I were learning as well. We initially said no to the membership, not knowing if we would be able to get our children to Nashville enough for lessons to justify the cost. We believed that they would greatly benefit from this academy so we signed up. We also were looking forward to the vacations that were a part of the membership.

My husband and I became nervous at the thought of the future payments, considering I was expecting and ready to deliver a new child at the end of the month. We contacted the manager less than 24 hours later and explained that we felt we had made the wrong decision and that we wanted out of the contract. The manager said that this scenerio had never happened before and that they could not fullfill our request because the clubs were already being built to or childrens specifications in height. He said that we should take 10 lessons and if we were not happy then they would talk to us...that our happiness in this purchase was important to them.

We were able to take 2 lessons and then the problems began. We would call and leave messages to set up appointments and they would either not return the call at all or would call us back after the times we had requested for lessons...by then, taking the lessons were too late. We never had the opportunity to take 10 lessons. We live 2 hours away from the academy and could not just pop in to talk to these people.

We also tried to take the seemingly free cruise, which when we tried to book it, we would get a response that the company could not fullfill our request. If only we had known what this company was really like we could have made an informed decision. Instead of a lifetime guarentee, we have a lifetime headache!

I have contacted the names of the investigators and hope to be contacted to help make this company pay restitution to all they have swindled.
