My wife is disabled and insured through Lincoln financial group. We have had to fight for her benefit since the inception of her claim and they used every trick, lie, ploy and scam in the book to deny her, hoping she had no one to fight for her, but we did fight and continue to fight for rightful benefits.

You see, they forced her to apply for SSDI as part of the terms under her own occupation contract with Lincoln financial Group. By forcing her to apply for SSDI benefits, if she was granted SSDI by the Government, the clause in their insurance contract allows Lincoln Financial group to get out of paying my wife the full benefit ( example ) if she was getting $1,000.00 a month from the insurance company, but were awarded $500.00 a Month from the Government, the Lincoln Financial group only has to pay my wife benefits of $500.00 a month, thats a real incentive for the Insurance company, and real nice of the Government to let them off the hook, since they did receive policy premiums at all times to protect earnings and an amount of insurance premiums specific to those earnings ( example ) the more you make, the more your premium costs you, however, after being forced to apply for SSDI, if your granted, the insruance company is off the hook for the other 500.00, depiste they received insurance premiums.

What Lincoln financial did was fight my wife for years, but she is disabled under the terms of their policy and also SSDI.

Lincoln financial Group even paid $1,600.00 for a one time visit to their chosen Doctor in hopes of their doctor stating she was not disabled.

Their chosen Doctor however agreed my wife was disabled and so did the Govermment. She also is on SSDI now and long term disability, but the insurance company was able to profit off the SSDI my wife was forced to apply for because now they don't have to pay her as much out of their own profits.

So since all their other plans failed and they were trying every trick in the book, what they did is falsely claim she was not a regular full time employee and was not working 40 hours a week. She in fact was working 40 hours a week, she was insured as a class 1 employee, even her employer notified Lincoln financial group of this and they continued to ignore this fact.

Worse the plan documents of the policy were concealed from us by both the insurance company and employer, and we discovered in the documents that my wife was also entitled to partial disability for the entire time she was on many medical leaves and missing days and hours of work in between those medical leaves, we addressed that with them also and they will not respond to that, except recently, since this matter is escalated to Dennis Glass the president of the Insurance company, the rep states it has been addressed in phone calls. That is a LIE as we never communicate except for in writing so all is documented.

Lincoln financial group has shorted my wife 600.00 dollars a month for over 3 years while disabled, despite they never paid her any partial disability the entire time she was entitled, they USED all the time she was disabled to say they averaged her hours during those times of illness and she was not working full time.

EXACTLY, she was disabled for 8 months and entitled to partial disability for 8 months and during those same 8 months she was on 4 different medical leaves, yet they USED those time periods to say she was not working full time to reduce her benefit amount.

Had they not concealed the insurance plan documents that were requested in writing at the inception of her illness, she would have also known  she had partial disability insurance that would have paid her 100% of her earnings, and she did alert them countless times over three years of this fraud, and all they tell her is to SUE THEM, knowing it is expensive to get an attorney for this.

All of this evidence is in the claim files and they know it.

If they can't find a way to deny your claim for benefits, they will resort to ANYTHING, such as they have here,  to save them loss of profits, looking out for themselves, instead of what the insurance is for and that is to protect the workers earnings!

Lincoln Financial group has acted disgraceful here in this manner, they even refused to answer by email, and put notes to all claim reps not to respond! , knowing all of this was being documented over the years.
