We implore you not to purchase any extended license for Magic Jack and suffer like us,
stuck with with two five year non refundable subscriptions.

They upgraded their jack to be used without a computer and then said that we cannot use our existing subscriptions with their new device but would have to purchase new subscriptions with new devices, rendering our two 5 year subscriptions a useless waste of money.

Also, be careful to separate multiple subscriptions. I was able to attach one of our two subscriptions to my iphone using their app, but they wanted an additional $10 fee for my wife to attach her iphone to the other subscription.

From their dismissive attitude, it is clear that they feel no compulsion to address customer issues to the satisfaction of the customer and their attitude generally sends the message "it is what it is, you have no choice but to accept, so go where you want to go, do what you want to do, or say what you want to say". Meanwhile, i spent the better part of two hours with their incompetent customer service representatives who place you on extensive holds as if they have no clue and have to go research your problem in a manual.

There are cheaper and better VoIp options out there in any event, so be sure to shop
around. Do not be ripped off by Magic Jack.
