Ymax Communications -Magic Jack Magic Jack - I was hijacked , all within the last 8 hours! Palm Beach Florida

My daughter told me about Magic Jack - she just loves it. So I thought I would order one after having read all the magic information on the site.

I really wish I had visited this site first. When I read Report #432377 here on this site about the Magic Jack rip off, I just couldn't believe it. It is almost word for word what happened to me today (4/8/09) - within 8 hrs!

It's almost too crazy to go into in detail, but like the other fellow's report said, I never at any time authorized the order. I didn't complete the order because I saw the total was $90 plus dollars! So I thought I had just made a mistake when putting in the information, so I went back to the beginning and attempted to order again and make sure that I followed the process exactly right. I did that but the order kept coming out to the total as before. Nothing worded, which surprised me - because I never finalized the order! BUT they had my credit card info and that is probably all they wanted to "complete" my order.

I "chatted" with the customer service rep. online and got no where. That is when I really began to panic. I knew something was very, very wrong. I called my credit card company and I had already been charged over $90. This was within 1-1/2 hours. Not 31 days! My credit card company suggested I return the order immediately when it arrives, then when my statement comes, call the CC company and dispute the charge.

I know this will take forever and honestly, I feel violated. I am an intelligent woman, but just messed up this time. I will never buy anything online again unless I have checked into the product and the background of the company and of course visited this site. I do buy from Amazon - and they never ship or charg me for an order until I say Ship My Order and complete that final step.

This has been a rotten day! I think I know of a site where one can start petitions - I will go there an get a petition to get these frauds out of business. Google the petition site.
