Mariner Finance charge more than you borrow and you have no proof what you owe Altoona Pennsylvania

We were sent a check for 1200.00 We cashed it and used the money. They at that time sent me a payment book which had coupons to pay my debt each month. The payment was 86.14. we owed three more payments and that loan would have been paid off fEB OF 2017. So we owed them 258.42. In November of 2016 WE NEEDED 500.00 SO WE CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID SURE COME ON OUT AND SIGN THE PAPERS.  We signed them they gave us 500.00 and said make sure you send your payment in each month.  We have been sending them 100.00 a month since december of 2016 (I had already made the Nov. payment when we took the loan out so I have never been late with a payment) Paid extra every month and I never received a payment book or anything showing how many payments we had left just canceled 100.000 a month checks. We are still paying on this loan when I called last month they said we still had payments until June. But call in April it maybe longer. we have paid them at least another 1500.00 and when I called the gentleman and I use that word loosely said he was upset that I was trying to imply something that was illegal. He said there was insurance on the loan for death it was an unsecured loan except they did ask how many tvs and computers we had. I can not wait to finish paying them off. I tell people all the time to stay away from them they rip you off and my husband and I are elderly maybe we didn't understand something but you still should get a rewciept or a bill of some kind with what you owe. I just spoke with a girl they will not send me a statement and we still owe them 500.00 She said the loan was written for 2000. which was not true. She said they no lner send bills or statements. People please stay away from these people.
