Mariner Finance Unetical, Scam Artists, Taken someone else Hard Earned Money because they are allowed to scam you. Laurel Maryland

Hi I have never done this before and don't have much experience. My first loan was with Finance Maryland before Mariner finance took it over and it was for 700.00 dollars however I ended up owing them 3000 or more. I signed the papers but didn't understand because I was in need of the money. I have paid on that loan every month even if a little late since I have gotten it. Last month they called me and asked me if I signed my truck over to them they would pay it off and give me and additional 500. I thought it was a good idea at the time because I would only have to pay one person instead of 2.

I had to get a 10 day payoff quote from my lien holder which was for 2927.00 I figured my fiancee was out of work it and was my birthday, the truck needed tires, however i am the only one working took the da off to velebrate because i was tired so I did it and got scammed!!!!!!! I was not explained to by Mrs Bernice exactly what this loan meant and not one time since i have been with them have i ever received a statement or anything however my payments were never late.

I never knew how much i owed or the principle or balance of anything and when asked it wsas always we are working on the website but this is you balance however i would question it and it would mysteriously become lower. I was never told that this would converge with any other loans nor would it double. I expected to pay a few extra dollars however for it to double. that is ridiculous and if this would have never haoppened i would have never checked on it just being trustworthy and believing someone but i need to realize when it is dealing with money... you cannot trust anyone!!!

I have been paying on a loan I got in 2006 for 7 yrs for 700 and that was the most money I have ever gotten from them. They included life insurance and other things I never asked for which they said were policy and procedure however no one explained to me exactly how this loan would work. I hate to believe I am naive but I guess I am when it comes to certain things. This has been only about 50 days and recently my fiancee was in an accident so the truck is considered a total loss and I was told Geico would give me the remainder after they paid the lien holder.

I informed them Mariner finance should get around 3100 or 3200 however when calling them they told me my loan balance is over 6000 dollars. I asked for statment from beginning to end , a breakdown of the loan and why it wasn't explained to me in person when i signed the papers. What dummy would sign over a truck for 2900 to increase to 6000 for a measely 500 bucks, Not me but now here i am, Stuck!!!! I was never given a statement until this day and never able to access my account, so i have no idea how much i have paid them however i have all my bank statements and every payment i made to them was through my bank or credit card. 

Is this my fault because it was not explained properly and I am now without a truck and they receive all the money I invested in this truck. I have spent a lot of money on this truck and if for one second I would have know signing it over to them would increase my payoff that would have never happened when I only owed 2900. I would be stupid to do that but I guess that is a lesson learned. I am just baffled as to how they can do this and not explain it in detail and get away with it. When i came to this site and saw how many people complained about their services, i was seriously surprised. .

Yes they have my signature on papers but their were so many of them and they were talking so fast about this is just policy and procedure. How can they claim every penny I have put into the truck, hat isn't fair. Please, I am struggling so hard to make it and now this. Please if there is anything I can do can you please help me, I am not looking for pity but I am at my wits end, I fell at work and was hurt and now this.

Please help me because I called them and tried to talk to them but that isn't working. Their # is 3013620760 in laurel. I am just tired of people getting over on me and taking things from me that I work so hard for, Please help me. There has to be something I can do, I will give them the money they paid for the truck and to me but to take every penny, I mean that is a little unfair. God I need some body's help. I don't know what to do.
