Mediacom Cable ripoff incopetent programming and service Quad Cities Clinton Iowa

Mediacom has subjected its viewers to weak signals, unusable movies on demand, and unviewable programming
WEAK SIGNALS The reception I've experienced is horrible. CH 16 -UPN WQBD from the quad cities is full of snow and static. It's audio sounds like it comes out of a tin can. I'm told nothing can be done about it. During storms, several channels will "fragment" just like a poorly installed personal satellite dish. Yet, they repeatedly advertise how better their signal is over with terribly poorly produced amatuer commercial spots.

UNUSABLE MOVIES ON DEMAND I have repeatedly have to have my reciever "hit" so Stars on demand or pay-per-view will actually work. When I called on Friday of Memorial day weekend I was told nothing could be done until Tuesday. Its a good thing that I'm on a free promo= I certainly won't be subscribing to this crap service.

UNVIEWABLE PROGRAMING This is the straw that breaks the back. I'm a fan of Star Trek voyager-since I never saw the orginal airing I've attentivly watched the reair from UPN (WQBD) QUAD CITIES. Not only is the signal crap, but the programming techs totally abort the story, cut for commercials in the middle of sentences, totally cut parts of the story out, jumps around the story, and forget about trying to tell what episode is on because it is hardly ever -what is advertised on the crawl (directory). This was especially evident on the first episodes , which finally aired on Sept 5th-Sunday. I'm soo dissappointed since I've tolerated all the future episodes-waiting for the very first to air. It was totally aggravating . I will be CANCELING this crap service and return to my personal dish. The only thing thats worth it -is their internet service
